AUSTIN, Texas — The attorney of an Austin man who survived the crash landing of a Delta plane earlier this week in Toronto spoke with KEYE about the details.
The flight, which was coming in from Minneapolis, landed upside down and caught fire.

Amazingly, all 80 passengers and crew survived, including Austinite Marty Lawrence.
His attorney, Andres Pereira, says Marty has back, neck, and facial injuries from being left hanging upside down and then falling onto the ceiling when he unlatched his seatbelt.
"There's a great deal of emotional distress and mental anguish that he suffered as a result of being in a plane crash and being soaked by fuel as the airplane careens down the runway on fire," Pereira said.
Pereira says he's filed a lawsuit against Delta on behalf of Lawrence, and the $30,000 offered by the company to passengers won't cover the expenses stemming from this crash.
The cause remains under investigation.
