ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany State University (ASU) nurse practitioner program has ranked #10 amongst nurse practitioner programs for 2026.

ASU offers an online Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nursing Practitioner program for prepared nursing students.

The program focuses on family centered care, health promotion and disease prevention.

To be eligible for the program students must have a 3.0 GPA, an active nursing license and at least one year of clinical experience, according to a release.
