Description

CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A Crisp County crash has the Sheriff’s Department asking drivers to drive without distractions after a Tractor was hit.

In a Facebook post, the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said: “This time of year, you’ll see more tractors and farm equipment traveling the roads throughout Crisp County.”

“It only takes a glance at a text message, adjusting the radio, or looking away from the road for disaster to happen.”

The CCSO asks drivers to:

  • Slow Down
  • Stay Alert
  • Be Patient
  • Never assume the operator can see you
  • Only pass when it is legal and safe to do so

Details are limited on the crash. It is unclear if the tractor operator or the driver of the passenger vehicle were injured.
