(Gray News) - Aldi is lowering prices on about a third of the products it regularly stocks.

The grocery chain says the cuts are already underway and will run through at least Nov. 3 at stores nationwide.

Aldi estimates the price reductions will save customers about $86 million.

“As shoppers head into fall routines and healthier habits, we’re making additional investments to lower prices on our better-for-you favorites, building on the value customers already see throughout our stores,” said Scott Patton, ALDI Chief Commercial Officer.

Items with lower prices include fall staples like grapes, Bartlett pears, Brussels sprouts, butternut and spaghetti squash, fresh herbs and garlic, French beans, apples and potatoes.

The company says its family packs of chicken breast are also down to $1.99 a pound, their lowest price since 2022.

Aldi’s price cuts come as grocery prices remain above last year’s levels.
