ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany will activate Operation Safe Place to help residents stay warm during the freezing temperatures ahead.
The Albany Transit Center will be open from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Dec. 11, 14, 15, and 16.
The Transit Center will resume regular hours at 7 a.m. on Dec. 12, 15, 16, and 17.
Organizers say that they will monitor the forecast to see if they need to add or extend any days for the warming center.
