ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — The Albany Police Department requested the public’s help Thursday, May 21, in identifying a theft suspect.

In a post on Facebook, police said the man pictured below is a suspect in a theft by taking incident that occurred on Tuesday, May 19.

In the photo, the man is carrying a backpack. His identity is unknown, officials said.

Anyone with information further is asked to call Albany Police Department at 229-302-0790 or Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS (8477).
