ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Sunnyland Farms recently showcased its local products on a national stage through Good Morning America.
The Albany business had its products featured on Good Morning America’s Deals and Steals segment with Tory Johnson. Sunnyland Farms highlighted items including peanut brittle, homemade cheese straws and pecans as potential holiday gifts.
Alex Wilson, owner of Sunnyland Farms, said the national exposure can benefit other local businesses in the area.
“Albany is a smaller town in Southwest Georgia, but we have lots of national brands and lots of companies that are doing big things nationally,” Wilson said. “I think it was cool that a lot of people got to see a brand like ours that was a smaller company get recognized on such a big show. Anything that’s good for one company in our area is good for the area as a whole, so we’re excited about that.”
The feature demonstrates how businesses can reach wider audiences regardless of their location.
