ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Drier air has made it into our region, keeping things dry for Friday. The focus today will be on highs. Many will rise into the low 90s with heat index values climbing toward the triple digits. Tonight lows will be in the mid-70s.

The weekend is seasonable as highs remain in the low to mid-90s with lows in the 70s. Rain chances will be elevated due to increasing moisture levels. A threat of isolated flash flooding cannot be ruled out for many areas that receive rainfall.

Next week features a rinse-and-repeat cycle with familiar summer conditions.
