THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — One person is dead following a Sunday, May 10, collision between a pickup truck and a four-wheeler in Thomas County.
Georgia State Patrol (GSP) said the accident happened on McMillan Road near Myrick Road in Thomas County, near the Colquitt County line.
The preliminary GSP findings report the driver of a four-wheeler pulled out of a driveway of an RV park and into the path of an oncoming pickup truck.
Troopers said two witnesses told them the driver of the four-wheeler failed to yield before entering the roadway.
The impact of the collision reportedly ejected a person from the four-wheeler. That person died from injuries sustained during the crash, GSP said.
At this time, the identities of those involved have not been released and the fatal collision remains under investigation.
