Description
This Open Farm Day combines spring garden planning with small-space growing solutions.
This Open Farm Day combines spring garden planning with small-space growing solutions. Participants will learn how to reset garden spaces after winter, assess sunlight and soil, and create a simple spring planting plan. The day also highlights self-irrigating planters (SIP buckets) and other water-smart systems used in schools, workplaces, and community gardens. Youth will demonstrate how these systems are built and maintained, showing how food can be grown almost anywhere.
