The Flint River Entertainment Complex in conjunction with the City of Albany Recreation and Parks Department is set to host a three-day basketball tournament at the Albany Civic Center featuring Middle schools from South Georgia. The event is set for December 17 – 19, 2024 at the Albany Civic Center starting at 4:15 PM, 4:15 PM, and 3 PM, respectively. This is a double elimination tournament, featuring girls and boys teams, where a champion will be crowned. Additional details regarding the bracket placement will be available on December 9, 2024.

Lee County West Middle School Boys
Mitchell County Middle School Girls
Merry Acres Middle School Girls and Boys
Radium Springs Middle School Boys
Sumter County Middle School Boys and Girls
Tickets for the tournament will go on sale starting December 6 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Georgia’s Own Box Office inside of the Albany Civic Center. Discounts are available for groups over 10 people.
