ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — [UPDATE: May 22 at 7:15 p.m.]: Officials confirmed that no children were on the Dougherty County school bus when it crashed Friday afternoon.
The Albany Police Department (APD) said that an 18-year-old woman driving a red Ford Escape failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by the school bus on Stuart Avenue.
The 18-year-old broke her arm, according to APD. No other injuries were reported, APD said.
