ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany announced today, June 18, that a lane of West Oakridge Drive is set to temporarily close.

The city said that the closure will begin Monday, July 21. Only the westbound lane of the road at 2617 Oakridge Drive is expected to close. They said the closure is for ditch cleanup, which they expect to take approximately three hours.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when driving in the area while the work is being completed.
