Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Multiple guns were flashed following an argument at Guthrie’s in Albany on Tuesday, Nov. 11, according to police. All three people involved were charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday afternoon, the Albany Police Department (APD) said.
According to the Guthrie’s manager, an argument between the manager and a customer — both female — started after the customer said she was unsatisfied with her food. The customer allegedly grabbed the manager’s arm, and a male cook then got involved, telling the customer to leave the store.
The customer left, and the cook followed her out, according to the manager’s account.
Then, according to the cook, the customer pointed a gun at him while they were outside of the restaurant. In response, the cook said he showed the woman that he was also carrying a firearm but did not point the gun at her.
The customer said she did not point her gun at the cook.
When WALB arrived at the scene, all three parties — the manager, cook and customer — were being interviewed by police. They have since each been charged with disorderly conduct.
WALB has contacted law enforcement officials, and we are waiting to hear back for further details. Stay with us.
