Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Rescue Mission is urgently appealing to the community for financial support as the holiday season brings a surge in need for shelter, food, clothing, and spiritual care.

Each year, the Mission provides thousands of meals and essential services to men, women, and children facing hardship across Albany and the surrounding areas. But this year, leaders say the demand for assistance is higher than ever.

The Mission relies entirely on private donations to continue its operations, meaning every contribution, no matter the amount, directly impacts local individuals and families who are struggling.

“Your support ensures that no one in our community is left hungry, cold, or without hope during the holidays,” Mission leaders stated.

Community members wishing to help can donate online or send/hand-deliver contributions to: Albany Rescue Mission, located at 604 N. Monroe St. Albany, GA 31701

For more information, or to learn how your donation can make a difference, contact the Mission at (229)435-7615.
